The opportunity
We are recruiting an EV Project Manager to manage charging installation projects ranging from 7kW units through to 500kW infrastructure. Based from Hamilton, you will take responsibility for projects across Scotland from the initial survey and pricing stage through to completion and invoicing.
This is primarily an office-based position when you are not surveying or attending sites. Candidates should therefore live within approximately 60 to 90 minutes of Hamilton. Some home working may be available after the initial onboarding period.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and understand project requirements
- Complete or coordinate site surveys and prepare project pricing
- Order materials and arrange electricians and other labour
- Plan and manage EV charging installations through to completion
- Control programmes, costs, quality and communication across each project
- Complete project handovers and ensure works are ready for invoicing
- Support the continued development and growth of the EV division
The person
- Experience managing electrical installation projects from survey through to completion
- EV charging experience is preferred but is not essential
- Strong candidates may come from commercial electrical installations, LV infrastructure, solar, battery storage or M&E
- Able to coordinate clients, electricians, suppliers, materials, costs and project programmes
- Commercially aware, organised and comfortable taking ownership of multiple projects
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Scotland
