The opportunity
We are recruiting a Head of Assets for a growing solar and battery storage business. This is a senior role for someone who can take ownership of the asset function, improve portfolio performance and help develop the business as it continues to scale.
The position combines operational leadership, technical understanding and commercial responsibility. You will work closely with the senior management team and have the scope to shape how the asset function operates and grows.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the asset management function across the solar and battery storage portfolio
- Monitor technical, operational and commercial performance and identify areas for improvement
- Oversee reporting, compliance, maintenance activity and the performance of delivery partners
- Manage relationships with clients, contractors and other key stakeholders
- Develop effective systems, controls and processes as the portfolio grows
- Identify commercial opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the business
The person
- Experience in asset management, operations or portfolio management within solar, BESS or a closely related energy sector
- Strong commercial judgement alongside a practical understanding of operational delivery
- A track record of taking ownership, improving performance and building effective processes
- Confident managing senior client, contractor and stakeholder relationships
- Comfortable working in a growing business where the role can develop with the company
Package
- £60,000 basic salary
- Performance-related earning potential up to £100,000 OTE
